2.3 Scrim

Lesson 3: Scrim

Branding:

o Be aware that you are putting the correct branded scrim on the correct fencing.

Position on fencing:

o Install mesh on the inside of the course with the artwork facing the course
o Start the piece of scrim on the left-hand end of the fencing panel. Be aware that there are different lengths of scrim that cover either 1-panel or 2-panels.
o Ensure the scrim is straight, tight, and flat against the fencing panel.

Zip ties (cable ties):

o Attach zip ties on the corner holes as well as every 4th hole of the scrim.
o Ensure the tail of the zip tie is facing downwards out of view.
o Zip ties must attach the scrim to the fencing panel from both the top and bottom.

Post-event:

 Cut zip ties with snips and place in the bin.
 Fold scrim neatly and place in designated scrim bins.
