Lesson 3: Water / Sports Drink Set-up

FOR WATER:

Fill all cups to about ½ full (via dipping cups into water buckets), leaving about an arm’s length between each cup in the first 2 rows. This allows the competitor to grab a cup on the way past without knocking over several cups in the process.
As cups are taken, immediately replace the cup with one from rows behind, leaving the original gap. Have plenty of cups ½ filled ready to go, behind the first 2 rows. Note: Do not try to hand the competitor a cup it will nearly always end up falling to the ground or losing its contents.

FOR COKE:

Fill cups ¼ full of water (via dipping into water buckets), top up with ¼ coke until half full.

FOR BROWNIES/LOLLIES:

Ensure cupcakes are cut in half and laid on a platter. 3 lollies to a cup also placed on the table for runners to grab.
