Tweed Coast Enduro Safety Committee Update

Following Friday night’s safety committee meeting, the contingency has been decided for the 2020 Tweed Coast Enduro:

Drafting

The ruling for drafting by the Race Referee is you have 15 seconds to pass another competitor once you have entered the draft zone, which will be 7m.

Sprint

The Sprint swim will remain unchanged.

Enduro

The Enduro swim will be reduced to 1.7km. The start will remain the same at Buckingham Street, and will proceed immediately left downstream to the finish next to Tweed Holiday Parks: South as planned.

Aquabike

Your finish line will be at the run exit of transition. You will come into transition off the cycle, rack your bike, and run through the run exit gate. There will be a final timing mat here. You then go straight through to recovery!
