Our events would not be possible without the help of our numerous volunteers who generously donate their time and effort.
NXsports is constantly looking for motivated volunteers to be part of such a big day for the athletes. Volunteering is a great way to build experience and be involved in exciting community events.
We would love for you as an individual, club or organisation to come out and join us for a day full of fun and invaluable experience.

Before the Day Volunteering
Lend a hand to get traction for the event with local public awareness.
Spread the word of the event by putting up posters, handing out flyers and
Participant Kit Packer
Join the Rider Kit team to assist with the packing and organising of
riders’ kits, jerseys, bibs and other material before the event.
On the Day Volunteering
Lend a hand at the event to make sure the big day runs
smoothly! We have positions along the route and at the start
and finish line.
Rest Stop Crew
Help our riders to feel supported by setting up, maintaining and packing down those
critical rest stops along the course.
On Route Support (Vehicle)
Be amongst the action and use your own vehicle to support our riders by following
the pack with hydration, snack supplies and mechanical or first-aid assistance. We
want to make sure that no man is left behind!
On Route Support
Be amongst the action and follow the last rider to ensure the pack is on course and
no man falls behind. You will also assist to sign fellow volunteers out along the course,
pack down and return rest stop equipment and takedown route signage.
Want to be amongst the action but cycling isn’t your forte? Assist our riders by
standing in a strategically placed location along the course and ensuring they are all
headed in the right direction.
On Route Support (Moto)
Using your own motorcycle start by directing cyclists along the route at a designated
position. After the final rider, you will then ride the route and support our riders by
following the pack with hydration, snack supplies and mechanical or first-aid
assistance. We want to make sure that no man is left behind!
Event Support Assistants
Help us make sure the event is set up, ready to go and running smoothly before the
participants arrive. You will also assist in packing the event down.
Registration and Information Desk
Consider yourself a customer service guru? Put your expertise to the test by checking
riders and volunteers in, handle any enquiries, handle bag storage and assist TPCHF
staff with merchandise sales and on the day registrations.
Finish Line Assistant
Feel like a bit of variety on the day? Help us make the finish line an experience to
remember by working in various positions to give breaks, running errands as they
Traffic and Safety
Make sure no-one is put in harm’s way! To keep our participants safe you will be
directing traffic, riders and patrons at the start and finish line.
Hydration and Green Team
Make sure no one is left feeling parched and we are looking after the environment
by keeping our hydration station fully stocked and our event space is kept looking
