Road Marshal (RM) Role Overview

Context

Volunteers to be engaged by NXsports to control tasks at permitted special events required for basic and low-risk duties.

Role Description

Road Marshals ensure pedestrians only cross roads at safe times, between contingents of cars, cyclists or runners. RM’s also monitor the safe conditions for race participants, notifying organisers of traffic hazards or dangerous situations. RM’s also provide public with information in a courteous and professional manner.
